Once again we are very pleased to announce that the Portsmouth Victoria Synchronised Swimming Club are coming to Petersfield Open Air pool to give a display on Sunday 10th July. They are a competitive synchro club whose swimmers have represented HampshireCounty, the Southern District, England and Great Britain. The display will comprise of complicated figures and taxing routines for solo swimmers, duets and teams of between four to eight swimmers. Synchronised swimming has been likened to water ballet and has been an Olympic sport since 1984. The display starts at 11am and entrance is from 10.30am onwards with prices of £3 for adults and £1.50 for under-16s. Following the display the audience is invited to ‘have a go’ so bring a costume, hat, goggles and noseclip if you would like to join in. For more information phone 01730 265143.
